About Me
Leslie Miranda discovered a love of music as a child, and decided to become a music teacher to share that joy with others. She has taught music of all kinds to preschoolers through adults, and currently teaches elementary music in JAA's Online Program. Mrs. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Performance from Chapman University and a Master of Arts in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Additionally, she completed the Post-Baccalaureate Education Program through San Diego State University with honors and holds a Clear Single Subject Music Teaching Credential with English Learner Authorization from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. When she is not busy teaching music, Mrs. Miranda loves spending time with her five children and traveling with her husband who is a freelance bass player. Mrs. Miranda's favorite classical composer is Mozart, and she has enjoyed playing Mozart's Clarinet Concerto and singing the Mozart Requiem. She is excited to accompany scholars and families on their journey of American Classical Leadership Education through Music. You can reach her via email at [email protected].
