Welcome to John Adams Academy - Online!

I am so excited to start my 2nd year with John Adams Academy. I love the culture that surrounds the American Classical Leadership Education model that we use here at JAA. I believe this model allows scholars to be inspired and proactive with their educational experience. The online program is so exciting because it allows you to have a great part in your scholars learning! You get to experience their discoveries and learning in your home and cheer them on as they continue to progress. My favorite part about teaching is watching your scholars make discoveries and connections as they progress through their learning journey. It is so inspirational to see them achieve something when they have put so much effort into their learning. I currently live in Des Moines, Iowa while my husband attends medical school. We are loving the adventures of living in a new place. We are also preparing to welcome a baby boy into our family at the end of October! Some of my favorite things to do when I am not teaching include: baking, crafting, being in the outdoors, reading, and playing board games. I am so excited to start this year and have the opportunity to mentor your scholars!
