About Me

Welcome, families! I am excited to be joining the John Adams Academy Online program this year. This is my second year at John Adams Academy and my first year teaching fifth grade Humanities. There are many reasons I love being a part of the John Adams Academy family. Here at John Adams our Ten Core Values are the focus of everything we do. We do not just seek to impart knowledge to your scholars, but to build the character and virtues that are equally necessary for your becoming an effective servant-leader. I am particularly looking forward to working with the Online Program because it highlights the best assets and most important mentors of JAA - you! The rich integration of family and education is one of the essential ingredients to your scholar's success at John Adams Academy, and I am thrilled to come to know and support each family that I get to encounter. 

 

Outside of school I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have two precious cats and are currently expecting our first child. We love spending time playing board games, traveling, hiking and enjoying nature. I also love finding new dessert recipes, doing puzzles, and reading beautiful literature. My favorite author is C.S. Lewis, and my favorite book is The Great Divorce.
