Welcome to the John Adams Academy Online Program!

This year will be my fifth year at JAA. I am excited to continue exploring the Academy's Core Values and Mission and Vision with our community as well as sharing my love of the classics with seventh grade scholars. I always look forward to discussing the Great Ideas our classic Literature invokes and am eager to mentor scholars' through these timeless texts. It has been thrilling to help pioneer our Online Program and continue to do so for year two! I love that we can still bring scholars together online to create community and extend our American Classical Leadership Education model to families near and far. 

 

I live in Boise, Idaho with my husband and our two mini long-hair Dachshunds, Watson and Mulligan. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, painting, and trying not to kill my houseplants! I have a deep love for classic Children's Literature, and it is my goal to read (or re-read) all of classics we utilize in the elementary curriculum. That being said, I would be remiss in not mentioning my equal adoration for the wit and satire of Miss Jane Austen, especially her second novel, Pride and Prejudice.
