Colette Rogers Bio
Hello and welcome to fifth grade!
My name is Colette Rogers and this is my 3rd year teaching at John Adams Academy. I have been teaching for almost 15 years in various capacities. I attended Utah State University as an Art Major and Anthropology Minor, but while working as TK teacher, I decided to change my major. I found my love of watching children as they discover the world and themselves. I went on to complete my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies for K-8 grade and an MA in English Language Learning through Western Governor's University.
A little more about me outside of school. I have a lovely family consisting of my husband and 7 children, the youngest being 11. They keep us very busy! I also enjoy anything outdoors, learning about other cultures, reading, art, anything science related and good food. I have lived in 7 states and visited almost all 50, but California is my favorite and I am so grateful for this opportunity to be here and spend this year with your children. We are going to have a great year!
