Friday, June 8th is the last day of the 2011-2012 school year. It is also the date of the

Survivor: John Adams Academy

party for all JAA scholars, teachers, and staff! Read on to see how you can help make this event happen.

When: Friday, June 8th 10:30 am- 12:30 pm
Where: MPR and playground area
Who: JAA Scholars, Teachers, Staff, (Parents, we need your help!!!)
Cost: Absolutely free to all!!

We made it! This has been a tremendous year of firsts. The amazing teachers, scholars, staff, and parents at John Adams Academy have given their all, and now it is time to celebrate!

There will be lunch, a bounce house, obstacle course, and crazy Survivor games for all who wish to participate!

How can parents help?

To put on this party, we need everyone to pitch in and make it happen. Look for an email from your classroom volunteer hour coordinator with information on how you can either lend a hand that day or contribute to the food and prizes for the party! Also, each class will be making their own t-shirts to commemorate the year and to wear at the party. Please send a plain t-shirt with your scholar to school by Friday, May 25th. K-5th need white t-shirts, 6-10th need red t-shirts. All shirts should be completely solid without logos or patterns so that your scholars can create a class shirt. We will need volunteers to help make the shirts with classes, so that this doesn't fall on the teachers to do.
