We will be conducting school-wide STAR testing for Grades 2-10. The testing will occur on the mornings of Tuesday-Thursday (5/1-3) and Tuesday-Thursday (5/8-10), with 8th and 10th graders taking an additional test on Friday (5/4) and Friday (5/11).

John Adams Academy students have been preparing with their classroom teachers and should feel confident regarding the expectations of the tests. Please help your student get a healthy night sleep each evening, have good nutrition each day before and during school, and minimize other stresses. We want each scholar to feel ready and alert, so that they can perform well on their assessment and feel a sense of success. Learning how to prepare for and perform well in testing situations is a skill that will continue to serve our scholars throughout their academic and professional careers.
