The College Resource Committee is having our first Parent/Scholar College Info night this Thursday, May 10th, at 7:00 pm in Room 6 of John Adams Academy. All High School families and teachers are invited to attend. Scott Hamilton with Future Stars will be the guest speaker. He is a seasoned high school/college prep consultant in Sacramento. Mr. Hamilton's bio is below. Families will also have the opportunity to meet the members of the JAA College Resource Committee and learn of their responsibilities.
Biography:
Scott Hamilton is the president of Future Stars College Counseling Center in Sacramento. Having coached over a thousand students to college admissions success, Scott is an expert in the application process and helping students discover the right college match. Scott will provide an overview of the current state of college admissions, how decisions are made and what students should be doing in each high school grade level to be best prepared.
